About Mindy
I began my career in the beauty industry in the corporate world, spending a combined seven years with Estée Lauder and Clinique. At just 23 years old, I was honored with Estée Lauder’s prestigious Best of the Best award, an achievement given to the top 70 artists worldwide. Shortly after, Clinique brought me on as their Special Event Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest, where I led makeup artistry teams across Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho.
While that chapter built a strong foundation, my true passion has always been working one-on-one with women during some of life’s most meaningful moments.
As a freelance makeup and hair artist for over 16+ years, my work has been featured on the cover of The New York Times and on The Today Show. I have had the privilege of collaborating with incredibly talented photographers and artistry teams, and of serving countless brides and their wedding parties, mothers-to-be, teens celebrating milestone moments, models for editorial shoots, and women simply wanting to feel their very best for special events.
Today, Southern Life Beauty is rooted in more than trends. I specialize in timeless, soft, and elegant bridal beauty, creating looks that enhance natural features, photograph beautifully, and last all day. Just as importantly, I believe your wedding morning should feel calm, joyful, and unrushed. My approach is intentional, steady, and personal, allowing you to fully enjoy every moment.
